Renter Responsibilities

Access Ability de Mexico — Los Cabos & Puerto Vallarta

By renting equipment from Access Ability de México S.A. de C.V., the renter agrees to the following terms and conditions.

Equipment Condition & Care

All mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and medical equipment remain the property of Access Ability de México S.A. de C.V. and are delivered in clean, safe, and proper working condition. The renter agrees to return all equipment in the same condition, excluding normal wear and tear, at the end of the rental period.

Safe & Proper Use

The renter is responsible for using the equipment safely and only for its intended purpose. Equipment must not be operated by anyone under 18 years of age, by anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or in a reckless or unsafe manner.

Financial Responsibility

The renter is financially responsible for any loss, theft, misuse, or damage to the equipment beyond normal wear and tear and agrees to reimburse Access Ability de México S.A. de C.V. for any necessary repair or replacement costs.

Reporting Issues

If the equipment is damaged, lost, stolen, or experiences a mechanical issue during the rental period, the renter must notify Access Ability de México S.A. de C.V. immediately so we can provide assistance.

Property Damage & Liability

The renter is solely responsible for any damage caused to hotel property, resorts, vacation rentals, private residences, vehicles, buildings, landscaping, or any third-party property while operating the rented equipment. Access Ability de México S.A. de C.V. shall not be held liable for any property damage, repair costs, claims, or expenses resulting from the renter’s operation or misuse of the equipment.

Personal Belongings & Release of Liability

Access Ability de México S.A. de C.V. is not responsible for personal belongings left on or transported with the rental equipment. By accepting the equipment, the renter assumes responsibility for its proper use and agrees to release Access Ability de México S.A. de C.V., its owners, employees, and representatives from liability for injuries, property damage, or losses resulting from the renter’s use, misuse, negligence, or failure to follow operating instructions, except where prohibited by applicable law.

Indemnification

The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Access Ability de México S.A. de C.V. from any claims, demands, damages, or liabilities asserted by hotels, resorts, property owners, or third parties arising from the renter’s operation or use of the rented equipment.

Rental Extensions

Need your equipment a little longer? Simply contact us before your scheduled return date. Rental extensions are subject to equipment availability.

Battery Care

All mobility scooters are delivered fully charged. To ensure reliable performance, we recommend charging the scooter overnight during your rental. If you experience a battery or equipment issue, contact us immediately, and we will do our best to assist you as quickly as possible.
